Dep (Beauty) Fashion Show 6 and Fashion Festival – Welcome New Year 2008 will be held in HCM City at the end of December.

Inspired by the designs of Japanese architect Tadao Ando, famous for their modern simplicity, the 6th Beauty Fashion Show, themed “Contemporary Inspiration”, is sure to impress viewers with its beautiful combination of fashion and structure.

 

Huong Color, Creative Manager of Beauty Fashion Show 6, said the mixture will arouse new, strong feelings within the audience; the show will feature 250 outfits designed by Do Manh Cuong, Hoang Ngan, Truong Thanh Hai, Mai Lam, Nguyen Duc Duy and Vo Phan Huy.

 

“I’ve paid close attention to every detail. I think fashion is an integral part of architecture,” said designer Duc Huy.

 

More than 70 models, including famous singers and models Ho Ngoc Ha, Ngo Thanh Van and Ho Quynh Huong, will strut down the runway.

 

Beauty Fashion Show 6, co-organised by Beauty magazine, Le Media and Samsung Vina, will be held at 8pm on December 28, at the HCM City Television Station theatre. It will be aired on the international fashion channel FTV in January 2008.

 

The second show, named “Fashion Festival – Welcome New Year 2008”, held by the HCM City Youth Cultural House will be held the night of December 31.

 

The show will feature over 100 models and guests, including famous singers and actors, including Miss Vietnam 2006 Mai Phuong Thuy.
